Sanctuary

Raw Confessions of One of God’s Imperfect Servants

About the Book

A "man of the cloth,"

who dedicated nearly his entire life to serving God,

finds himself in desperate need of the very healing grace he has offered to others. From parents addicted to prescription drugs to a sexually abusive grandfather, from an emotionally distant marriage to the revelation that his firstborn son is gay, and a forbidden love outside the marriage.

Sanctuary tells the tale of the raw struggles of those who are called to God's service. Replete with humor, heartache, tears, and redemption, "the always shines when embraced by the safety of the "sanctuary" of the church. In the author's own words: When God comes to us in the midst of whatever dysfunction, chaos or brokenness that exists in our lives, we find safety, we find hope, we find love, and we find sanctuary."
